Arabian Infotech - LMS Website Revamp
Project Overview
Arabian Infotech approached me with the task of revamping their existing website, which was originally built on WordPress, to a more modern, dynamic platform using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. The goal was to create a seamless user experience while maintaining strong SEO rankings. The project included building a new student dashboard, optimizing the site’s structure, and integrating features that would streamline administrative tasks and enhance the user experience.
Project Objectives:
- Modern UI/UX Design: The previous website lacked modern design trends. The main objective was to give the site a more visually appealing and user-friendly interface.
- Dynamic Content Management: Transform static pages into dynamic content for better user interaction and improved site performance.
- SEO Optimization: The goal was to revamp the website without compromising SEO rankings, ensuring the site continued to perform well in search results.
- Student Dashboard and Admin Features: Create a dynamic student dashboard for course management, certification verification, and other student-related activities.
Key Features and Functionalities:
UI/UX Revamp
- Modern Design: Clean, responsive design with a focus on user experience (UX). This involved updating the navigation, color scheme, fonts, and layout for better aesthetics.
- Responsive Design: Ensured the website was fully mobile-optimized, making it accessible on various devices including smartphones and tablets.
Dynamic Student Dashboard
- Custom Dashboard for Students: Created a dedicated student dashboard where learners can track their course progress, certifications, and upcoming events.
- Certification Verification: Integrated a student certification verification page to streamline the process of validating completed courses.
SEO Optimization
- On-Page SEO: Implemented best SEO practices across all pages, including optimized title tags, meta descriptions, header tags, alt attributes for images, and internal linking.
- SEO Performance: Despite revamping the site, I ensured that SEO rankings were not negatively impacted, and after the revamp, the website saw an increase in organic traffic and better keyword rankings.
Course & Event Management
- Dynamic Course and Events Integration: Integrated dynamic course pages, which are automatically updated when new batches or events are added to Google Sheets (back-end integration). This feature allowed for real-time updates and smooth content management.
- YouTube Video Integration: Embedded course-related YouTube videos on every course page to enhance user engagement.
Back-End & Database
- PHP & SQL: Developed the back-end using PHP with MySQL (phpMyAdmin) to manage student data, courses, and events. This database-powered system ensures efficient data storage and retrieval.
- Admin Dashboard: Created an admin dashboard where the client can manage course listings, student registrations, and batch schedules.
Server & Hosting
- VPS Hosting with AWS: Deployed the website on a high-performance VPS server through AWS, ensuring fast load times, reliability, and scalability.
- SSL Integration: Added SSL certification to secure user data and improve trustworthiness, contributing to better search engine rankings.
Email and WhatsApp Marketing Campaign
- Marketing Campaigns: I ran targeted email and WhatsApp campaigns to promote the courses, which resulted in a significant boost in enrollments and sales.
- Lead Generation: Integrated lead capture forms and optimized call-to-action (CTA) buttons to encourage user sign-ups and engagement.
Performance Optimization
- Page Speed Improvements: Implemented performance enhancements to improve website speed, reducing bounce rates and enhancing user engagement.
- Analytics & Reporting: Used tools like Google Analytics to monitor website performance and ensure the site continued to meet key business objectives.
Project Outcomes and Results:
- Increased Sales and Enrollments: The redesign and marketing campaigns resulted in a measurable increase in course sales and student enrollments.
